Bright as a perfect spring day filled with hope, a walk amongst these citrus flowers uplifts the spirit and fills the heart with joy. Glimmers of afternoon sunshine dapples the picnic cloth and freshly peeled yuzu mists from the hands. Abundance is palpable. The nearby trees laden with yellow, drooping ylang ylang flowers give sweetness to the breeze. A warm afternoon rain hydrates a weary soul. For a moment, time stands still, and the senses take pause of the tremendous beauty around us.

The Personal, The Process, The Gathered
While the perfume is a harmony of worldly florals and citrus, there is the personal, the gathered element. Nothing says joy to an herbalist like Elderflowers. Their stunning, delicate white flowers speak of health, beauty, and tenderness. A good haul means elixir, honey, mead, and dried flowers for teas and baths during cold flu season. But all practical uses aside, Elderflowers display a truly gorgeous aroma - slightly creamy and so gentle - and is a delight to work with. It uplifts the sweet of ylang ylang, softens the edges of neroli, and compliments the zest of yuzu.
The Earth Laughs in Flowers is easy to wear every day and is the lightest and most delicate and universally pleasing of my perfumes. It features artisan tincture of elderflowers that I grow and forage myself.
